TOURISM MENTORING FOR RURAL COMMUNITIES
Edmar Xavier knows the routine of the small rural producer, the family, and the agricultural communities. He grew up following this routine since birth and can observe the scenario in different Brazilian states. The routine of those who depend on the land to generate family income is the same anywhere in the world. What differs is the support that these families have from the government and social entrepreneurs, who reach places where access to technology and specific knowledge does not come easily.
EXA Group Canada wants to change the lives of families generate qualitative values to guide owners in innovations, awaken the interest of young people in communities, and create local leaders to assume the sustainable development of the economy with tourism.
With experiences of pilot projects in communities, associations, and farms in the state of Minas Gerais between the years 2008 to 2018, Edmar Xavier is responsible for conducting mentoring. How is the work done?
We visit the place previously chosen and researched, or visit the person who got in touch to make the area recognition and visualize the development scenario of the tourist offer. This process lasts between 3 to 15 days, depending on the coverage area.
Photo and video images are captured and cataloged to support marketing planning and the planning of tourism activities.
We created the visit report. We present the strengths, opportunities, and paths for the sustainable development of tourism and revenue creation, aiming to develop a conscious cash flow to optimize the necessary investments.
This report also presents the segments of tourism that places can explore, and we indicate some tourism activities that sites can offer, in addition to the delivery of selected photos taken on the spot. The period for the delivery of the report is from 2 to 15 days, depending on the area of coverage and the complexity of the information.
